I think that everyone defines the meaning of work differently. Work to me has a negative connotation for the people that have to do the work. I think that work is anything that needs to be done and is not necessarily fun to do. Work is something that helps or is good for someone or something and that you get compensated from. Now, work for me is something that I enjoy doing because I wouldn't chose to do it if I didn't remotely enjoy it. Granted everyone needs money to live, but everyone also has had a lot opportunities to maybe do something that they liked doing.
